I am a technical writer working for WMF. One of my team's main responsibilities is creating and updating technical documentation on mediawiki.org, including but not limited to the core MediaWiki software documentation. In order to do that effectively, we need to be able to move groups of subpages, delete pages, and help maintain the general health of the wiki by protecting pages. Thanks!
