YellowFrogger
[edit]- Requested user-rights: Autopatrolled.
- YellowFrogger (talk • contribs • logs • rights • global account)
Greetings. I'm YellowFrogger, a user who likes to spend his free time editing wikis. Lately I've been editing MediaWiki.org mainly in the areas of translations over various extensions (including many pages that are still missing), out of interest in the form of the contribution. So I think my edits don't need to be patrolled, just proofread. Also, I really enjoy looking at recent changes for vandalism and this status would suit my editing style. I edit WMF wikis eventually and also non-WMF wikis. I'm a patroller of Meta from the wiki farm Miraheze, a bureaucrat and sysop from that wiki, where I also have about 23,000 edits, and a little knowledge of CSS. I have a great mastery of wikis, knowledge of wiki code and especially MediaWiki technically. Thanks! --YellowFrogger (talk) (✔) 00:46, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hello It's been three days and it looks like the administrators didn't notice --YellowFrogger (talk) (✔) 20:10, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- You didn't follow the instructions and transclude this request to Project:Requests (please do that). Anyhow autopatrol doesn't usually affect what you can do, only what others have to do after your edits, it's usually granted by an admin without any formal requests like this one.
- Could you please clarify what do you mean by "this status would suit my editing style"? Majavah (talk!) 21:03, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- Majavah, I'd be comfortable adding the
autopatrolled
flag to YellowFrogger, given his translation work, provided he sticks to only doing translations in his self-identified native languages. Dmehus (talk) 01:32, 31 January 2022 (UTC)- @Majavah: As @Dmehus: said above, I do a decent job on and off the WMF wikis. Therefore, I do not need these rights, it is just to fit the need not to patrol my editions. Anyway, I'm in the wrong place to request. Thanks. --YellowFrogger (talk) (✔) 19:47, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
