I have translation administrator rights via my volunteer account. As Czech Wikipedia community ambassador, I translate several pages (mainly subpages of Growth) into Czech, and sometime, I need to mark them for translation first, see log of my volunteer account. Since I now have a WMF account, I'd like to do actions relevant to my work for WMF from this account rather than from a volunteer account. For this purpose, I'd like to have TA rights. Thanks in advance, --Martin Urbanec (WMF) (talk) 15:46, 22 June 2019 (UTC)

Done @Martin Urbanec (WMF): Please note that there is a process for staff accounts to get on-wiki rights, and this isn't it. :-) Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 18:04, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Jdforrester (WMF): Yes, I know a process exist (while I don't know the details), but since another ambassador Revi (WMF) got his TA permissions via the same process and since my situation is same as his, and he seems to have consulted this with Trizek (WMF) first, I've decided to use this process. If it's required nowadays for some reason to use some of the WMF internal procedures, could you please let me know what that procedure is? Thanks! --Martin Urbanec (WMF) (talk) 19:53, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Jdforrester (WMF): Why was this request removed from Project:Requests, with comment done? This doesn't seem like a "done" request. Or should I interpret your note as "declined" comment :)? --Martin Urbanec (WMF) (talk) 19:54, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Martin Urbanec (WMF): Sorry, apparently I didn't press "submit". Fixed now! Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 20:57, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
- Jdforrester (WMF) Trizek told me I could just apply onwiki without WMF internal process (and Martin and I don't have access on officewiki where that policy is written) so I just did it. â revi (WMF) (talk) 14:57, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Revi (WMF): Thanks for the pointer. @Trizek (WMF): , this feels like bad advice. Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 15:13, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- Well, Jdforrester (WMF), TBH, I've only applied the same process I applied to myself (certainly following someone's advice too). Trizek (WMF) (talk) 15:40, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
