Specifically, move
and move-rootuserpages
, and any others I may need to do the actions below.
I am the backup account for User:Caehlla, as that user forgot their password. I would like to be able to move that account to this one (as per Help:Logging in#What if I forget the password or username?). I may need administrator assistance, but these rights are for if I do this myself. Caehlla2357 (talk) 10:50, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- There's not actually anything to move here---your only edits are to this request, and the other account you mention has never made any edits here. --Clump (talk) 15:16, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, right. I was, however, requesting for global permissions. I have been most active on Wikipedia, and I never really found out about permission requests until I really got into MediaWiki due to the aforementioned circumstances of me forgetting my password. In case this request gets denied, I will just contact an admin instead. Caehlla2357 (talk) 16:15, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Caehlla2357: It sounds like you want to rename accounts? You'll need to go to meta:SRUC for that. Leaderboard (talk) 16:11, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Leaderboard: I actually found out about it today. Nonetheless, thank you. Moving on a bit, I don't know a more general discussion site (it turns out I have another account registered to my email address; I believe I created it in 2013.) Caehlla2357 (talk) 16:38, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

- Â Not done we can't assign user rights individually, global user rights are handled on meta, and it seems that user rights are not the actual solution, renaming is. --DannyS712 (talk) 07:38, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
