[edit]- The Hackathon is for anyone who contributes (or wants to contribute) to Wikimedia’s technical areas - as code creators, maintainers, translators, technical writers and other technical roles. You can come with a project in mind, join an existing project, or create something new with others. The choice is yours!

[edit]What is the Community Hackathon?
[edit]Ans: It is a space for the technical community to come together and work together on technical projects, learn from each other, and make new friends as well as find ways to solve existing problems.

When will the event take place?
Ans: The event will be held on 22nd July and 23rd July,2022. The event will be hosted between the hours of 10:00 to 15:00 UTC
Where will the event take place?
Ans: The 2 day hackathon will primarily be held at the OFWA Premises, opposite Bosphorus, Labone. The Code of Conduct for Wikimedia's Technical Spaces will be in effect throughout the event and discussion channels. Please have a look at it and ensure you are willing and able to follow it.
What will I benefit from Participating?
Ans: By participating in the Hackathon, you have the opportunity to work on issues that matter to you and advance your skills/experience while joining this regional, diverse and inclusive team of contributors and the African Wikimedia Technical team members.
What exactly will participants be doing?
Participants will be contributing to open discussions, improving and translating technical documentations, participating in exercises on wikimedia data,learning the skill of using Phabricator for project management and etc.
