[edit]We rolled out 1.21wmf5 to the non-Wikipedia sites today, after a brief reversion and re-deployment to fix breakage in how we were displaying some styling (details). We are on track to deploy 1.21wmf5 to English Wikipedia on Monday, December 3.

[edit]On Friday, 30 November, we will probably revert the most recent changes in LabeledSectionTransclusion, because of performance issues we discovered this week. This will affect all non-Wikipedia sites and may affect how templates and transclusions are displayed; if you changed pages to accommodate the LabeledSectionTransclusion changes, you may want to undo those changes on Friday. We are on track to deploy 1.21wmf5 to English Wikipedia on Monday, 3 December.

[edit]Wikimedia engineers deployed 1.21wmf3 and 1.21wmf4 to all Wikimedia sites, and began deploying 1.21wmf5 (with a momentary breakage). These updates included many significant improvements, including one-click (AJAX) patrolling, for both new page and diff patrol, and a Template Sandbox, which lets users preview changes to a template by previewing an example page where it's used.
