Troubles with sharing uploads

Hi !

I hope I post on the good page, else, please tell me where I should post...

We are actually creating a multi lingual scout wiki (like Wikipedia but about scoutism), at ScoutWiki

I'm trying to set up a "Common"-like, to share pictures & media between wikis: ScoutMedia

The trouble is that it does'nt seem to work.

Here is what I added to [www.scoutopedia.net Scoutopedia] (french wiki) LocalSettings.php:

## Allow using ScoutMedia
$wgUseSharedUploads		= true;
## ScoutMedia upload directory
$wgSharedUploadPath		= "http://media.scoutwiki.org/images";
## ScoutMedia  upload directory structure
$wgHashedSharedUploadDirectory = true;

The Hashed is also set up on ScoutMedia

I uploaded a picture on ScoutMedia: Image:Brouette.jpg ( Brouette.jpg )

and I tried to insert it on Scoutopedia:

Brouette

The trouble is that it doesn't work :-( (names are similar)

Can anyone help ?

MediaWiki 1.17

On MediaWiki 1.16 it works fine, but If I set #$wgUseSharedUploads = true; on MediaWiki 1.17, it gives me the following error:

A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was: 
(SQL query hidden)
 from within function "DatabaseBase::begin". Database returned error "0: ".
