Hello I want user names not capitalized. I tried

$wgCapitalLinkOverrides[ User ] = false;

but it doesn't work, user names are still capitalized.

What should I do please?

As it says in the caveat section, the User namespace must always be capitalized. Logan 17:17, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Does this work on the pagename level or is it only by namespace?

Will

$wgCapitalLinkOverrides[ NS_FILE:favicon.png ] = true;

Usernames

Hello,

Why is the User namespaced disabled for this feature? I'm only interested in disabling forced capitalisation for usernames and nothing else. --194.150.65.12 09:15, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
