I'd like to transclude the "What Links here" into another page, but when I do so, I end up with something that looks like:
Pagename (← links )
Is there a way to transclude this without including the links bit?
A CSS method was suggested, as well as using Extension:DynamicPageList, which was already available to the user on the wiki in question.

@Blinkingline While you can do that, keep in mind that it'll affect all instances of What links here? output, including on Special:WhatLinksHere itself.
As a mention buried in the help page notes, another option for wikis with Extension:DynamicPageList installed (like most Wikia/Fandom sites, for one, but un-like Wikipedia) is to use {{#dpl:linksto = page name}}
, which produces a simple list of links.
The very first sentence says this: "In the toolbox of every page there is a link labeled "What links here" (or, more generally, labeled with the text in MediaWiki:Whatlinkshere), also called backlink"
What is the toolbox of every page? Where can I find it 14:53, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
@Ottawahitech: In the latest site redesign, what the intro is referring to is the section titled "Tools" in the left-hand sidebar. (Which may only be visible if you click the "hamburger icon" () in the upper-left corner of the page.)
