L'extension Wikisource ajoute des fonctionnalités aux wikis qui fonctionnent comme Wikisource. Trois fonctionnalités sont actuellement regroupées dans cette extension :

Wikidata: Link between editions of the same works on different language Wikisources.
WS Export: Export EPUB, PDF, and other formats via a 'download' button at the top of every Main namespace page and links in the sidebar.
Wikimedia OCR: A toolbar interface is added to the main editing toolbar when editing any page in the Page namespace, to quickly extract text from the page image and add it to the page body text-box.
