MediaWiki requires users to confirm their email addresses before using the email feature to prevent issues like fake addresses, bounced replies, or spam. Logging in and editing pages doesn't require email confirmation. Also, providing an email address during registration is optional.

Check your preferences settings to see if your email address has been confirmed.

If you change your email address, you will be automatically sent another email to allow you to confirm it again.

How to confirm an email

1. In the preferences settings, navigate to the Profilê karberi section, and go to the Tercihê e-maili sub-section. Below the sentence Tesdiqiya E-posta: you will see a pop-up message, click on E-postayê xo araşt kerê.
2. A confirmation code will be sent to your email address. Click on the link to confirm your email address.
