- Suggested Task
- An editing recommendation where the system suggests an article and provides basic information about the type of edit needed. Users are guided to the standard editor but are responsible for breaking down and completing each step of the edit independently.
- Structured Task
- An editing recommendation where the system suggests an article and presents one or more specific actions (e.g., a list of links to review or add). Users are provided with a dedicated interface, guiding them step-by-step through the task with structured prompts and assistance.
- Currently, there are two types of Structured Tasks: the "Add a link" Structured Task and the "Add an Image" Structured task.
- Suggested Edits
-
- the module on the Homepage, which includes both Suggested Tasks and Structured Tasks
- any kind of edit that is prompted to the user while they are reading or editing a wiki page
- Newcomer task
- Edit tag used for Suggested Edits.
- Homepage
- A start page for new and returning editors. Like the watchlist, it is a special page, unique to each user.
- It is not the wiki's main page.
- Help panel
- A feature that provides guidance and context when a user reads or edits a page.
