Suggested Task

the system recommends an article to edit, provides basic information about what to do, but the user is left to use the standard editor on their own to complete the task (that also includes breaking down the task into smaller steps, and so on)

Structured Task

the system recommends an article and one or more specific steps to complete it (such as, a set of links to consider adding); there is special interface to go through those steps, with specific guidance

Suggested Edits

the module on the Homepage, which includes both Suggested Tasks and Structured Tasks

Newcomer task

term used for tagging any edit that originates from an editor clicking through a task in the Suggested Edits module.

Homepage

A start page for new and returning editors. Like the watchlist, it is a special page, unique to each user.

It is not the wiki's main page.
