About this board

The links do not seem to go where they are supposed to go.

This is probably lost on the old repo. If I still has it somewhere it would be horribly outdated.

Jeblad (talkcontribs)

Some parts of the code still exist in the history in here, it was deleted at the same time the repo was created. It is probably even more outdated than anything in the old repo.

Thanks for that. Do you know of any good alternatives that allow users to create XML-like tags directly and link their behaviour to templates, css, js, etc.? I thought this extension would have been a great starting point for a 'light version' of text-oriented XML such as TEI XML - that is, without XQuery and the like.

Jeblad (talkcontribs)

I don't know. This was something I wrote for a company that needed a solution to mark old and new text. The markup wasn't really xml-ish, it was only for formatting output.

What you could do is embed xml in html, and define rules for for what tidy should pass on. Then you must define xsl-transforms, possibly in the browser, and style the the result with css.

Updated, so last version before archiving has a link to last version of code in diffusions SVN. I'm not sure if that is in fact the last version, and whether it works at all.
