Extension talk:SysopSidebar

i 'm so glad that i found this SysopSidebar extension you made for Mediawiki.

At this moment i run into some problem using this extension .

i found that a function named " hSkinTemplateOutputPageBeforeExec" did not call by any other function in SysopSidebar.php

i follow every step in http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SysopSidebar

but it seems not work on my MW 1.9.3 ?

i try to login as a Sysop administrator but i didn't see any changes to its sidebar . why ?

i do want Sysop administrator has different sidebar from other user very much .

Would you please give me some suggesion about this issue .

As stated in the header of SysopSidebar.php file (and most probably not eloquently enough !), this extension runs natively on MW 1.10 but requires patches for earlier releases. See [1] for more details. Jean-Lou Dupont 17:16, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Test under 1.10

I did some tests under 1.10,but i get one errors, First, I changed the original sidebar, to reflect me needs. After the activation of the extension i did not get my changed sidebar anymore. Instead i get the original one plus this line scrambled

;sitesupport</div>&

(some html-tags, please see the wiki source text instead)

Would you please give me some suggestion? Thank you!

The original MediaWiki:Sidebar, which was uses as template for MediaWiki:Sidebar/Sysop had some UTF8 chars inside. I don't know why. I fixed it and now it works. Thanks for your Help Jean-Lou Dupont. [nope 23.5.2007]
