Problem with MW 1.11

I did try this extension on a MediaWiki 1.12(alpha) installation and it seems ok. But on a 1.11 installation I don't get Wiki pages anymore after the installation. Can you tell me if this extension should work on a MediaWiki 1.11 installation?

• It's pretty hard to guess what you particular problem is, but I do run it on 1.11. Please provide some relevant error-log entries so I can get better idea of the problem. One, most probable reason, might be lack of filter PECL package - see prerequisites section. --Sergey Chernyshev 06:24, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

• • Thanks, now I know that the extension should work on MediaWiki 1.11 I will try to reproduce the problem in a test environment with MediaWiki 1.11. We are using a number of extensions so maybe there is a conflict somewhere. Or it has something to do with the PHP configuration. I will let you know what the results will be of the tests... (probably not before the end of next week due to my holiday :-) ). By the way, the PECL Filter package is installed and visible through phpinfo. Regards, Peter.

Great extension. But for beginner, it's difficult. How I'am suppose to install pear. I understand nothing...
