Hi all, Last section says "Finally, four special pages are used in..." but five specials are listed below. So needs to be clarified. If four, then which are the four ? . If all, better to say "Following..." to generalise. Thanks --Christian 🇫🇷 FR (talk) 11:28, 14 November 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing that out - I just changed it to "five".
Hello Yaron,
I'm using MultiPageEdit on my wiki https://dicoado.org/wiki/index.php?title=Sp%C3%A9cial:MultiPageEdit&template=Article&form=Ajouter+un+mot (I guess you won't be able to see it, since you don't have the permissions, but if you create an account, I'll be glad to give you the rights.)
Problem : There should be more than 9'000 rows but I can only see 500 entries. Is it somewhere limited (if so, is there a parameter to set a higher limit and/or a way to work around it)? It seems to me that the 500 shown ones are the 500 first created articles.
Thanks for your time.
Okay, I just created the account "Yaron Koren" there.
Thanks for giving me permissions there. Yes, I see the problem - I didn't know this was happening. I'll have to look into it.
Hi again Yaron,
Another bug we discovered using MultiPageEdit :
When a template is used with a pipe, it doesn't get through MultiPageEdit and stops parsing the remaining properties.
For exemple, for the word suffixe : https://dicoado.org/dico/suffixe (correct properties shown https://dicoado.org/wiki/index.php?title=suffixe&action=pagevalues)
On Special:MultiPageEdit we get :
Page : suffixe
Def : affixe derrière le radical d’un mot
Classe : nom masculin
Ex : Le mot {{"
and it stops right here, where the pipe should be. No "Contr", "Voir", "Image", "Légende", "Cat" nor "Attention".
Hello! I've been looking for some help on the FormEdit special page and haven't been able to find an answer to my question so am posting here for assistance. I have run into an issue using FormEdit and Preview wherein the Preview displays the page edits just fine, but the link at the top of the page which indicates 'Go to editing area' does not work as it does with normal page edits. Instead, the link is functionally dead and does not actually bring the user to the editing area / form below the previewed page.
Can you advise if this is a known issue, if there is something I am perhaps doing in correctly or modifications I can make to the form to correct? Any information / guidance is helpful. Thank you!
Yeah, the "Go to editing area" link doesn't do anything - you should just ignore it.
Good to know, and thank you for your response! Can you advise if there is any way I can edit the default page preview text so that the "Go to editing area" link does not display, or replace it with "Scroll Down to resume editing or submit" or something similar? I've had users on my wiki who have been thrown off by the defunct link. :)
I don't know.
Okay - thank you again for responding and I appreciate your honesty. :) If ever I discover a method to do so I'll visit back here for the sake of completeness. But I will likely just advise any confused parties on my end to disregard and move on. ;)
