Nuke talk pages, too

[edit]

Hello, I'm an admin on the English Wikipedia and typically when administrators use Mass-Delete, it's to remove page creations made by sockpuppets. However, the "Nuke" option doesn't delete article talk pages so this requires clean up from other administrators after the big red button is pushed. Could you fix the mass delete process so that article and draft talk pages are deleted when the respective pages are deleted, too? Ordinarily, I'd add "redirects" to this list (like Twinkle does) but redirects can often be saved by pointing them to a different article target page. But deleting talk pages along with articles and drafts would save us a lot of clean up work. Thank you. Liz (talk) 00:13, 26 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Liz: Thanks for sharing this - the good news is this is on our list of features to prioritise! You can track progress on Phabricator at T95797. At the moment we're working on a minor redesign of the flow of Nuke actions (T380297), and once we've done that this is one of the tasks we'll be able to prioritise.
