Error

When I enable the Google Maps 3 service as a default when trying to Display Points I recieve"

exception 'Exception' with message 'Could not create a mapping feature class instance' in extensions/Maps/includes/Maps_MappingService.php:199

This is because Maps 0.7.x does not have a Google Maps v3 implementation for display_points. So you can only set the specific default for display_map to Google Maps v3, and need to have another one for the other functionality. Maps 0.8 will have full Google Maps v3 support though :) --Jeroen De Dauw 07:07, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Cool that is good news is there a launch date for 0.8
