OfflineExtension is an extension for WikiToLearn that will add offline support to the current Wiki Editor.
Features
[edit]This extension notifies the user and their internet connectivity status. If submitted while offline, it will parse Wikitext to HTML and then renders it.
Installation
[edit]- Download and place the file(s) in a directory called
OfflineExtension
in yourextensions/
folder. - Add the following code at the bottom of your
LocalSettings.php
:require_once "$IP/extensions/OfflineExtension/OfflineExtension.php";
- Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
WikiText tags supported
[edit]Wikitext is written in a lightweight markup language with specific syntax rules. The tags supported by the Offline Extension can be found here: https://github.com/Srijancse/OfflineExtension/wiki
Known issues
[edit]- Parsing WikiTables to HTML hasn't been added to the parser yet. It is under development.
