Translate the MergeArticles extension if it is available at translatewiki.net

If a page is moved to another wiki using the ContentTransfer extension, the page is saved in a special namespace in the target wiki. From there, the page can be compared and merged with the last version in the target wiki.

Installation

  • Download and move the extracted MergeArticles folder to your extensions/ directory.
    Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
    git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/MergeArticles
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
    wfLoadExtension( 'MergeArticles' );
    
  • Yes Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
