This page details the steps to install ArrayFunctions on your wiki. ArrayFunctions can be installed like any other extension.
Prerequisites
[edit]To be able to install ArrayFunctions, you must be running at least PHP 7.4 and MediaWiki 1.35.6.
Recommendations
[edit]The extensions below are not required to use ArrayFunctions, but are recommended. The guide and examples might assume that these are installed.
- Extension:Scribunto - allows you to use Lua to construct arrays.
- Extension:Semantic MediaWiki with Extension:Semantic Scribunto - allows you to store and query structured data through Lua.
Installation
[edit]- Download and move the extracted
ArrayFunctions
folder to yourextensions/
directory.
Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/ArrayFunctions - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
wfLoadExtension( 'ArrayFunctions' ); // Increase $wgMaxArticleSize to allow for larger arrays (default: 2048) $wgMaxArticleSize = 8192;
- Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
