Typography refresh/Non-Latin scripts
Testing with non Latin Scripts is being recorded here
Look for issues with glyphs, ligatures, diacritics, RTL, any strange rendering issues with whitespace
Linux on Linux the new fonts are definitely worse than the old ones. I'm used to crisp DejaVu Sans rendering with good unicode coverage, which is more readable despite being at a smaller font size. The new font is quite blurry and looks old-style, very close to Helvetica in Netscape 4.7

Line height and font size for headings on hindi wikipedia main page increases, making it much larger (caused due to the margin-top: 16pt and margin-bottom: 4pt for h2 elements). See w:hi:मुखपृष्ठ.

Russian on articles that have geo-coordinates (e.g., https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A0%D0%B8%D0%BC ), the coords run into the "From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" tagline and cause a big ugly jumble

In general, glyphs and ligatures are very difficult to examine due to the small type size.
Polish (or any Latin-based alphabet):
- Heading font on Linux is still DejaVu Serif which is ugly (but I guess this will change after next typography deployment).
- Navigation links (personal bar, left nav) are slightly smaller with the typography update in Firefox on Linux which kind of annoys me. Interestingly, they get slightly bigger in Chrome (both browsers use Nimbus Sans L).
- I'm not convinced about changing the color of text from #000 to #252525. What's the point of reducing the constrast? It just makes me feel like if my glasses were foggy...
- plwiki main page has an ugly two-column layout that looks kind of squeezed with the typography update (not horrible though): https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Strona_g%C5%82%C3%B3wna same with Ukrainian :-/

Ukrainian Looks good to me. One slightly funny thing about using serifs in headers in Ukrainian or Russian is that the "old-school book typeface" look really jumps out a lot more at me than it does in English – but I think only nerds like me who've spent hours of their lives reading old Slavic library books will notice ;)
