Toolserver has been replaced by Toolforge. As such, the instructions here may no longer work, but may still be of historical interest.

The groups 100-199 are reserved for user-groups in the LDAP. Unfortunately this range is also used by Debian for services; so the groups have to be moved to other ranges. This page documents which group gets which number by puppet.
200-299

- 202: postfix
- 203: postdrop
- 204: nagios
- 205: munin (not used, it's in LDAP with number 1004)
- 207: nslcd
- 208: ssh
- 211: ntp
- 212: oident
- 214: tomcat6 (we don't use this).
300-399
[edit]For user-groups which are not in the LDAP.
- 301: users (not used, users is actual 100).
- 302: wheel
