Hi Alexandre, I'm contacting you because I saw that you are able to change this page, and I think it's exactly what I need. I was wondering if you could help me with this: I want to know how to make changes in the Recent changes options in the pt-Wikipedia, so we could add a new button to improve the vandal tracking. My idea is to put a Show/Hide autoconfirmed users button to show anonymous and new-registered users in the same list. Thanks,

I don't think this is possible without an expensive database query since this status is not stored in the database but calculated on each request. An other solution is to add another user group, like the "autopatroled" group we have on the French Wikipedia and whose members have their edits automatically marked as patrolled. Then you can use "hide patrolled edits" on recent changes to hide these edits.
Alexandre, thank you very much for the fast answer! In Portuguese Wikipedia we have this user group but only for bots and admins. The change of the database to store autoconfirmed users edits is out of question? Probably yes =(. Just one more question =P, do you know where (URL) is locate SpecialRecentchanges.php in the Portuguese Wikipedia and who has the editing rights? Thanks again.
There's bug 21093 for that, but I don't if this will be fixed. For the second part, I'm not sure to understand your question, this file is on the servers and it is updated from subversion in the same time as the whole software. This is not done automatically, but manually by a system administrator after code review process is done.
My other question is about this page. Is this the page that Mediwiki is using right now or it's only for development? The real page is only changed through software update or someone can change when needed? Thx,
This is used for development. The code that is running on the servers is at http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/branches/wmf-deployment/ and is manually updated when needed (urgent fixes or software updates). This branch can only be modified by system administrators.
Thank you very much Alex and sorry for bothering you with so many newbie questions =P. I will post a comment in the bug 21093 and hope they make that change. Regards
