Link behaviour

Currently, it is set so when a link exists within the generated PDF, an arrow points to it. However, this doesn't seem to be consistent. Links to other parts of our wiki do not have arrows pointing to them, which makes it hard for the user to see what is text and what is a link.

Any suggestions on how this can be fixed?

Some HTML inside "syntaxhighlight" tags not rendering

HTML text included inside the

<syntaxhighlight>

tag does not render correctly in a PDF produced using the "Download as PDF" feature provided by Special:Book.

For example, the following appears in test2wiki:Wikipedia:Guide to Scribbling:

<includeonly>{{#invoke:citation|reflabel}}</includeonly><noinclude>{{documentation}}</noinclude>

When this is exported to a PDF using the "Download to PDF" link in the toolbox, all that actually appears in the resulting PDF is:

{{documentation}}

I wonder whether this is because the export process is honouring the

<includeonly>

and

<noinclude>

tags.

I have tried applying the {{Hide in print }} template, and various others of that type, but this seems to have no effect. HTH HAND —Phil | Talk 16:55, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Better instructions

Not sure if this is the right place, but how do you turn it on?. The installation instructions are clear. But starting the render server instructions are a bit hazy. The external link has the command switches but I can't for the life of me figure out how the pieced together commands should look to get the (remote) render server operational. Windows

It's seems not possible to install it on a Windows MediaWiki server ; instructions are specific to Linux.

HTML and PDF Exports

I am using the HTMLets extension in my wiki to include some other files (tables of data) on my server. I noticed however, that when I use PDFExport, the content is not printed in the PDF, only the tags with the filename (<HTMLets>FileName</HTMLets>). It seems like the issue might be on the renderer side, so I was wondering if there was a way to configure extension to include the page that comes from the link in the tags in the export, as it displays in the wiki? How Hidding credits (Article Sources and Contributors...) in the bottom of the pdf

I would like to hide the credit in the bottom of the pdf file :

• Article Sources and Contributors
• Image Sources, Licenses and Contributors
• License.

Any Idea?

You have to find the file dist-packages/mwlib/rl/pdfstyles.py in your local python lib directory (mine is /usr/local/lib/python2.7/), and then search for and set `show_article_attribution` variable to False

Clarification needed

I tried to follow the easy_install script to install mwlib in my Ubuntu 16.04.2 server. But at the end of the install there is an error coming. Could someone please check why this error is happening?

The script I followed.

easy_install mwlib && rehash && easy_install mwlib.rl

rehash: command not found

Is rhash is rehash?
