The RecordWizard extension adds a special page, allowing user to perform mass recording of clean, well cut, well named audio-pronunciation files.

It was created to run Lingua Libre and their development is therefore strongly correlated, but the extension was made to be usable on another MediaWiki instance.

Installation

  • Download and place the file(s) in a directory called RecordWizard in your extensions/ folder.
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
    wfLoadExtension( 'RecordWizard' );
    
  • Yes Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
